I am working on an edited "release" of PunBB right now that would make it easier for beginners, with a number of useful mods already installed.
Do I need to ask the mod authors for permission?

No, mods are released under the GPL: any copyright that the mod authors have added to the code need to be left intact though

Your text is just a bit too long: make it shorter and it won't wrap 
Alternatively, wait and see if anyone knows the proper CSS to make it not wrap
i know it's a bit long yeah, just testing my web skillz out etc
if anyone knows the proper css and don't mind letting me in on how to make it show bonus. if not im happy to just leave rickards copyright info because as i've said my copyright info is on my homepage already so it shouldn't really matter i think 
Try adding ".conr {white-space: nowrap}" in the css file.

Queries are the "orders" that are sent to the database. In other words, just to open that one file, your website made contact with the database 126 times, which probably makes it slow, which is NOT a property of PunBB...

If you want to try figuring out where those queries are coming from, make a new topic in Troubleshooting

Already have asked this... PunBB has not released anything in 2006... 1.2.10 was released in 2005. 1.3 will have 2006 on it....
