PunBB Forums → PunBB 1.3 extensions → BBCode buttons arent working Please help
Hi this is very strange, i downloaded and installed the bbcode buttons extension via the forum and there not showing up at all.
I have tested in firefox and ie, with js enabled in both browsers.
Any ideas??
please help me cause this feature is vital for me to have

Does the bbcode panel appear? Can you use it on this forum?
I have the same problem. The bbcode bar appears in this forum, but in my forum doesn't appear.
change file permission for all files in extension, set 755. In some cases 777 doesnt work
no the panel does not appear at all.
In the html code i found this: <div class="sf-set" id="pun_bbcode_bar"></div>
That is the div where the buttons go right, however its empty
1) Does 'var pun_bbcode_bar = document.getElementById("pun_bbcode_bar");' string exist in the HTML document?

I have installed these extensions on my localhost, but I can't reproduce your problem. Are you sure that the punbb_code extension is enabled and the "Use BBCode Bar Enable BBCode Bar when writing posts (extension Pun BBCode)" option is turned on in your profile?
Yes, both options are set correctly.
Strange bug 
I have the same problem. The problem is clear in the JavaScript error console. It's having trouble finding the end of the string for some reason. Here's the JS that it outputs:
