Topic: Login attempts / Security

Have searched thru the forum (Just searched for "password") And went thru the 5 pages with hits. Nothing.


I looked thru admin settings but dident find anything (Just capta option upon login)

I want to regualte the max attempts of login
Just because to stop brute-force attacks and such.
As it is now you can just keep trying and trying.

this should be solved in standard version

plus you're not adding anything, but asking for solution to your trouble = brute force attacks

It can be implemented as a feature of the pun_antispam extension. Add a feature request to the Wiki-page, please.

Slavok, IMO, you should implement this in the out of the box version.
Also this isn't some luxury feature request but a basic need.
It comes closer to a fault in the code than what feature solves, IMO always.

This site, and all the spam registrations (stoppable with extensions Stop Bots questions, Stopforumspam) shows that not enough care is being taken by you - as lead developer - to this forum software.

I'd appreciate a solution! I know you are busy with other things...
