I'm using PunBB 1.3.4 but have not the same text box in this forum when writing posts with smilies and the function to the left in the writebox. How do I activate the same box as this forum has?

Hi, you have to install pun_bbcode extension. If you installed PunBB Repository with forum install (it's default choice) you may find it in Administration > Extensions  wink
