When a post is deleted, the users post count does not go down in their profile.

Strange. Most other forum scripts decrease your postcount when a message is deleted...

Well.. I guess it counts how many posts you have posted, not how many actually is on the board :)

ok different to others then. my mistake - quite a few other boards have a query which decreases your postcount when a post is deleted. Better this way anyway
