Display subject of last updated topic in forums on index page.

Features

  • Use fast query without mysql JOIN - on big forums faster then all other analog ext.

  • Well tested - work since first release in 2009.

  • Tested with SQLite db backend.

  • English and Russian lang included.

  • Have configurable settings.

Note
After installed you must click one time on link "Sync all forums" on ext description in admin page.

Hi.. When I try to install I get this:

Database reported: ERROR: column "o_max_last_topic_title_length" does not exist LINE 1: INSERT INTO config (conf_name, conf_value) VALUES("o_max_las... ^ .

PS: PgSQL - PunBB 1.3.4

It works!!... Also I have notice in the manifest what is the issue. Other extensions (even official ones) give me the same error, now I can edit and install those smile

It's  possible to reduced spacing of the message, so that the block takes as little space as possible in height ?

In settings u can change width of last topic title

Use extensions settings - u can change style of last topic - 2-rows or 3-rows, and change width of last topic.

Will this be supported for PunBB 1.4?

If its already working then I must be doing something wrong, doesnt display anything on index-page. And yes.. I have synced all forums

Version 0.6.8 worked with PunBB 1.4.
Try this version - if not worked, please, write your version and DB type.

Im checked version 0.6.8 - it work on MySQL and PunBB 1.4.
You shure that you use 0.6.8 version?

Check webserver error logs.

Im using the one u posted, says on my extensions: Version 0.6.8

Using the "Hydrogen" theme by Kyshi (but tried aswell with Oxygen)
Checked logs, honestly didnt know what to look for but couldnt find any "error" message, or "err"

If theres a way to check logs via forum then I dont know where to find.

This "rebuild index" thing, should I try that?

EDIT: Perhaps its using a function i've turned off? Like "show moderators list on index page" (just an example), turned off quite a few...

No, rebuild index not help.

Try again Sync all forums and write one test message on any forum.

It says extension installed, and config settings show up in Adminpage -> Settings -> Features
And that it's enabled.

Hmm.. now I'm sensing a pattern here, I don't think its the extension thats causing any problem, but my forum.

In the Settings -> Features theres a setting that says: "Show moderators list on the index page."

I checked that, but nothing is displayed on index page about any moderators (dunno how it should look though)
..and same with the clear cache extension, didnt see any link for clearing cache at footer either... something must be wrong hmm

This one doesn't show, probably because You didn't choose any moderator to forums ( it can be done by selecting user -> Administration ).

If any of my dropbox link fails with 404 error, change dl.dropbox.com/u/56038890/punbb/*.zip in address to 82283017.
