Topic: upgrade from 1.3.4 to latest... safe to proceed?

will such an upgrade go smoothly?  there wont be any compatability issues making content or members be lost?  will all the installed extensions still work?

what's the risks involved?

Not all extensions will be worked.

I converted my forum from SMF to PunBB 1.3 and after that I upgraded to 1.4. It went totally fine and fast. Remember to keep backups though
