I solved it by changing the rights to the sitemap file. It is very strange that this happen now without any direct changes. Maybe another extension created a conflict... Extension conflicts are a big issue of PunBB

This seem to be working with 1.4.2 if you change the maxversion in the xml file.

Since there was no other sitemap extension for 1.4, i decided i try this, i donno if there is any downside to this.
