Hi,

How can i make guest be able to see the categories and forums list in categories but not able to read the forums.

It's not possible and it's not fair for your users (I mean also guests)

But it is to have private forums, which are specific. For example, a forum for user type

Then disable the view for guests (this is allowed).

but the others ppl dont know that this forums is here... but ok i know that is impossible on punbb
