Topic: How to update punBB

Hello!

There seem to be no instructions on updating punBB so I have no clue where to start. please help

Updating from 1.3 to 1.4?

1. Do backup of all files and database.
2. Download latest version of PunBB (1.4.2)
3. Replace all files from version 1.4.2 with your current (1.3.X)
4. Run admin/db_update.php file in your browser.
Example if your forum URL is http://test.com you should go to:
http://test.com/admin/db_update.php
5. Just click "Start update" (or anything like this).
6. That's it!

Aah!! Thank you!! big_smile That was very helpful, wish I'd ready this before doing a fresh install sad I hope I can PM you in the future if when I update just to be sure of the right steps. smile

how to execute 4th number steps, i don't know how to open server browser please help.
