Is that a theme problem? May be a responsive theme should do. Or is it a backend problem?

I don't know what Rolex is writting because without an extension/modification of PunBB you can't embed a video.
Also, I can't check if that's right, because I have no mobile phone 
.

@Trace, you're right, it's an extension. I just wonder why it doesn't display on mobile phones, even on iPad.
Also, the Addthis extension is the same.
