Topic: Browser usage

I've looked at the webbrowser-statistics on (among others) w3school.com homepage. Is this numbers trustworthy? I know that Opera per default is identified as IE6.0, and this is probably the case in many other browsers too.

I've heard that the stats from TheCounter.com are somewhat accurate.

They differ quite a lot from the stats you posted above. Especially when it comes to Moz.

I would have thought that w3schools.com would be inaccurate. It is a site for people into webdev, so naturally these people have a clue about the optimum way of viewing a web page.

However, your average internet user won't have any idea that you can have different browsers so I would expect to see a lot more IE entries.

Yeah it differs, I have taken the screenshot from the counter.com as rickard mentioned. but how to upload it as a image.... can I do that..?

dRSlIzer, Its asking for user name and password... to which site it belongs. i want to add that image here in this forum(as reply to the above mesg). You have given me the URL, but where it will upload.

Also its asking for username and password. Have to create new username and password for that or else is there any wayto upload the file as a guest user. Coz i may not be using it later. just for one time, should I create the username password?
