Topic: How do I update to 1.4.4 from 1.4.2?
I've successfully downloaded v. 1.4.4. Now what do I need to know before uploading it into my file manager?

if you have older version on your host , first of all , backup your old data by zipping them into a file , then backup from your database , after that you can replace new punbb files on old ones , then go to admin and run db_update.php like this >>> www.yourforum.com/admin/db_update.php and follow instruction .

Greetings, Abdulhalim. Thank you for your response. I will give that a try later. While I have you may I ask help with three more problems?
1. Is there a way for me, as an administrator, to send an e-mail to all users?
2. I am confused as to how to upload images. The instructions from punBB say to use this: 
. I see that the image should be placed in test.png, but I do not see any way to upload or access the image.
3. I am writing to you in a message box with editing tools. On my forum all I seem to be able to locate is a Quick Response box below the post.
Any assistance you can provide on these matters would be greatly appreciated.

1. There is no default such thing but there is an extension for this feature out there ( such as Broadcast email for punbb 1.3 - maybe its work with new version ) http://punbb.informer.com/forums/topic/ … castemail/

2 . The best way to insert picture for me is uploading somewhere and use BBCode image tag [IMG ..] to display the image ... like this
