Pan Translator - is a tool for the translation engine and extensions into your native language. After installing the extension, enter
Administration - Translator

Important rules!
The forum must attend English language.
Your hosting must be allowed the right to write to the directory. Then, after the transfer, you can disable write permissions.

How to translate?

1 step. Create a new language on the settings page. Enter a name according to the localization standards.

Step 2. Select the newly created your new language from the dropdown list.

3. Go to the translators and select the file to be translated into your language.

4. Edit using Google-translator, or other convenient instrument.

5. Save the file and see the result on the appropriate page.

With Pan Translator you can translate extensions available in your native language.

Tab - extensions, select an available expansion and start translating.

Add:
You can now translate the extension into your language . Simply create a new folder with the name of their language and customize the files .

ATTENTION! Not all extensions contain the correct structure . Test on the test server . Please report any conflict extensions.

Over at textpattern we use crowdin which is free for open source projects.

They actually do give it for free for open source projects. The idea is for punBB to ask for it, add the strings of both the forum software and the plugins and then ask the community to contribute in the translations.
