Topic: An error is encountered

Hello,

It is the second time I have this. Evrything worked fine, and the second friday in a row all of a sudden I get this message (with the // removed from include/common.php):

PunBB reported: Unable to fetch category/forum list
Database reported: Got error 28 from table handler (Errno: 1030)

A week ago I had the same. When I got home and looked again evrything worked fine again. Last friday it happened again. But now it didn't 'recover' again.
I have no idea what it might be. My site is quite big so I removed some items to make it smaller, but I don't think thats the problem. Please help.

Error 28 is "No space left on device". I.e, your disk/quota is full :)

I removed everything until I reached the quota (100 mb) I had, but it makes no difference. I'm really desperate.

Do you still get "Got error 28 from table handler"?

The same happened like the last time: all of a sudden it works again, and it seems like only god knows why....
I am trying to talk to Dutchweb, the provider, and if I understand what the problem is/was, I let it know.

Yes, do that. Tell them that you are getting a message from MySQL that states that is has run out of space on the drive. The MySQL server is most likely a different computer so removing stuff on your account shouldn't affect it.
