I think exactly the same.

awful idea... cross browser support is non-existant for it
any updates Rickard?
is there any other ETA than "this summer" yet?
Nope, unfortunately not. Paul is working on the markup/CSS at the moment and all I can tell you is that it is great!
I'm afraid it's me thats holding things up at the moment. The one downside about GPL projects is that the people working on them have to earn a living in the real world. I am hoping to have enough of the XHTML/CSS finished during this week to deliver the whole thing back to Rickard so he can do his thing.
Will there be a lot of changes made to the CSS ?

All of it's changed. You will be able to do considerably more to style PunBB but doing the basic things like changing colour scheme will be easier than it is now. I have given thought to those who have integrated PunBB into their sites and have used PunBB class names for their own pages. Their sites should still work fine with virtually no alterations needed.
Any chance of a screenshot?
And will redirect forums have a "Hits:" counter?

Perhaps Paul can cook something up.

No.

For those who are wondering. The index page has one table only and the other two pages have no tables at all.
Nice, I like it

They were all nice, just my minimalistic, bandwidth saving side that gets in the way
Thanks for the screenshots Paul! They look great.
I do think the redirect forums are a bit to subtle though...

You can suit yourself, thats the whole idea
#punidx .punc1 span {big bold and brassy}
ok
Why is the span used?
When I read about PunBB2 being valid XHTML/CSS I was (besides jumping with glee) assuming semantic correct markup as well.
The span is used because the effect being created is purely visual i.e. it is not supposed to be different semantically from the heading tag which contains it. That being the case a semantically neutral tag is required.
This thread wasn't intended for in depth discussions of xhtml/css so I think I had better shut up on the subject for the moment.
- Language selection (in register.php and in profile.php).
Can you please make a checkbox in the admin control panel if this should be possible or not.
Madoor: Why would you want to prevent someone from selecting in which language the forum is displayed? If there is only one language, the selection will be hidden.

That sounds good (but it's quite obvious it' is like that hehe)! I don't need to take away that choice, but I don't care it it's not there...
When 1.2 gets to beta stage, I can help test it. I'm waiting for 1.2 to fully integrate punBB into my CMS app.
Any help you need in testing or docs, just ask.
hcgtv: I've setup a project on Sourceforge for PunBB, but I haven't had time to configure it and upload and stuff.
:D
When you get it uploaded, put a message in this thread.
