Topic: Forums lows down Server?

Hello,
The forum is really slow on my server, the server is not at my home though, i dont even know where it is. But it is working really slow now, could this be because of the forum? Just check it out: www.jquake.com/moh/forum/

p.s. normally it is fast

The entire site loads slow here, what are the load averages you see on the forum admin_index.php file ? (click admin, its the first page you see)

I was just about to say that the sites frontpage jquake.com took 30 seconds to load on a broadband connection. I don't see how that can be PunBB related, more like a server problem.

Did a ping

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 30ms, Maximum = 4101ms, Average = 1049ms

My sites figures were min:22, Max 42, Average:28 if thats any indication.

That ping is WAY to high.
Normally you would expect something along the lines of 30-300ms, just to give some rough figures.

Won't be the forum, punBB is way to light to slow a server down.
