i have just uploaded to punbb fourm to my website.....
i want to install it now...........
when i enter information and submit.........
my website states file does not found....
why is that error coming up.....
plz help me...
Which files is it that it can't find?
this is installation form
Database type My sql
Database server hostname my database name is cool124 and i am hosted by freepgs.com my site url is http://freepgs.com/kool-infotech/
Database name cool124
Database username cool124
Database password xxxxxxxxxxx
Table prefix what is this....? I dont enter any thing here....
Administrator username kool124
Administrator password xxxxxx
Re-enter password to confirm. xxxxxxx
Administrator e-mail my email addresss
Base URL http://freepgs.com/kool-infotech/
when i enter this information my site states page does not exist.......
i dont know why its happning...

You still don't tell me which file it is... Do you see a textarea with you config-file info before the 404 (file not found)?
Edit: I looked at http://freepgs.com/kool-infotech/ seems that it's no files there at all now...

see sir i am getting all this services as i am member of freepgs.com since it started.....

also my database name is : cool124
and i think i am making mistake in this....

all thing i enter is correct then also freepgs.com states that

do punbb require perl for installation.......

No, it does not.
You seem to have problems uploading the files, it's not PunBB's fault.
no ways.....
i have uploded it by ftp.......
so no way having problem uploading files......

Look at the permissions for your folders. This page now seems to have wrong permissions. Which program do you use to upload the files?

see here install.php is in capital letters

Why capital letters? That's why you can't find any files. When you're being redirected, the server cant find the files.
see i downloaded punbb files using windows xp....
i have not installed office xp on windows xp....
but i have it on windows 98 so i went there and used ftp and did the uploading there....
i think its win 98 fault.....
i have installed office xp on win xp....
i am now uploading files of punbb back
i am trying soon i will post you result

Follow the instructions you are given in install.php and it'll work fine.

Make sure there are no spaces or linebreaks before the <?php and after the ?> in config.php.
