Topic: paper thickness

i need to send an a6 to print but i need to give the card a thickness, what are the different measurements? and whats the name given to the different thickness of card?

I believe they measure it in weight/m2 paper.
Check out your local supplystore and have a look at the regular A4 printerpaper, usually 60 grams, might be 80 grams too.

I use 80grams paper for my laser printer. With my printer it makes a fine result.

Try 160 and see how it works, then just modify the setting to suit. you won't wreck anything. :-)

Photocopier paper = 80 grams
Good quality typing paper = 100 grams
Heavyweight paper for legal documents etc = 110 grams or 120 grams
Thin card (as Evan said) = 160 grams
