PunRes 3 itself has a lot of modifications too. Not released though.

Bit scary actually... 
At the moment their's only the Private message-system "installed" at my board and that's only because I'm too lazy or because I really suck when it comes to php.
If someone's got a board with all mods install and want to send it too me...

- Post Enhancer by Rob (not as bloated than that other BBCode button mod)

Yeah I hacked it and took out some unneeded stuff... like a lot i like it over post enhancer coz it uses text buttons instead of graphics... loads much quicker.

If anyone wants, I can supply the modified files... should be able to copy over the top of a fresh install right?

that would be great. you can email it to me at admin@forgamers-bygamers.com if you could be so kind(or just post a link). this will speed up my project site that will be using punbb a whole lot. much appreciated.
