Hi, I'm a member of this forum at http://lnx.propolingo.com/labb/presiden … /index.php
As you may realise 99% of the forum is IP banned since a mod (or hacker or an admin) IP banned everybody, since most of the IPs are the same.
Is there anything to do, because otherwise we're screwed if the person who made the ban made it a permanent ban.

As Ive told you there is nothing they can do....
The owner of the forum changed the ip part of it and it doesnt work anymore...

It probably was one of our mods doing something stupid but ot willing to admit it

On that site, someone banned close to all IPs (or maybe all, dunno). They wanted to know if there's any way to get around the ban.
An easy way to get around the ban: write a script that clears all bans (and why not include a script like that in the scripts folder, in case someone is stupid enough to lock you out 
).
Another way (I think) would be to comment out check_bans(); in common.php

You should really upgrade your forum from 1.0 RC 2. There's some serious security bugs found lately...

well, what happened was the ip tracer thing (not sure what to call it) displays everyones ip as 192.168.117.10 (which is weird cause it is an ip behind a router) and one of our mods ip banned someone, in return banning everyone. we did not have access to the database or the files, so we couldnt do that. i ended up getting a proxy from over in isreal and it gave them a different ip then 192.168.117.10. im an admin there so i unbanned the ip.
i really wish we could update, but thats up to the owner of the forums, which isnt very active anymore.

well theres 2 things, one is gary, you can get the soruce code for the forums, *none updated* from this website, but u can't get his, and i did ask pres but he didn't quite understand the question.
