Re: Web based bug tracker
I was able to fix Mantis so that it doesn't require you to login just to view reports, so I guess I'll stick with it for now. Looking forward to seeing what Chacmool has planned though :)

Hi,
If don't mind spending a few bucks (not too many), you should take a look at Bugroster http://www.bugroster.com
It decomposes bugs by project and only shows you the options relevant to the information you're viewing so the UI never gets cluttered up like some bug trackers.
I've been evaluating it for the last 2 weeks and am very happy with it.
Cheers
Adam
Methinks $499.00 does not qualify as a few bucks.
Yes, thats perfect Adam, lets have Rickard spend 500 bucks on it, when he doesnt make a dime off PunBB, that seems like a win-win situation

The Ferrari will have to go longer without a tuneup :)
Rickard: bug tracker is a kind of forum with some features, mybe some one start to build MOD and copy & past viewtopic.php to change the look to be bug tracker. i think is easy.
you can try that

Thanks. It looks rather nice. However, $500 is a little bit too much. I was thinking more along the lines of $50 :)
Isn't the real problem with a lot of the systems out there that they have concentrated solely on "bug tracking" and have ignored the "bug reporting" side of things. I don't see why somebody should have to login to a complex script just to report a possible bug. A simple form would be better though it would have to go into a temporary que before it makes it onto the main bug database.
...did you try downloading the latest jpgraph? says that it should work for php5
I suggest the microsoft bugtracker, it kind of do-it-yourself, but at the same time it's from microsoft - what's not to like?

Actually, it turns out it was an error in the MySQL bugtracker that was caught in jpgraph :)
Wordpress is using Mantis: http://mosquito.wordpress.org/main_page.php
