Try this GPLed mp3player for Win32. IMHO, it is really neat.

Sloooooow development. Winamp all the way, smart, simple, lite.
Winamp 5.05 with the Classic skin is a very nice player.
Winamp forever, the best, the only worthy. and that's it
is winamp free?
Winamp is free, the Pro version is not.
You also get Internet Radio and TV, free pron :)
I prefer foobar2000. I like the speed and transparency option.
winamp was good.
now it has too many option, it taks to time to load. tries to be everything.
moreover it is not GPLed. it is owned by AOL.
iTunes
Really fast but it lacks some nice features in the playlist. Also, the layout is a little weird.
And whats up with the playlist in the taskbar?
I use Winamp 2.91 and can't think of any way of making it better.
i use pro, its a lot better cuz you can burn and rip...easyer than havin 2 other programs yah know.
And once again, we return to the "UNIX philosophy"
Make each program do one thing well. To do a new job, build afresh rather than complicate old programs by adding new features.
I don't want an audio player that can burn and/or rip CD's. I want an audio player that, well, plays audio files. For burning and ripping I use the best tools available for those jobs (i.e. Nero and EAC/Lame).
that's bad. I am the only person switched from winamp to coolplayer.
Here's two more software's which I uses - both GPLed. Let me see what ya all thinks.
http://syn.sourceforge.net/ - I used to use texpad before this.
http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/in … /Main_Page - is a Mindmapping software.
Why making editors for Windows when we really need a fast and reliable one on Linux :(
I want an editor that can display different background colors for different parts of the code (i.e. dark gray background between <?php and ?> and a lighter gray "outside" those tags). Does anyone know of such an editor?

Like what DW does with HTML?
Textpad and a custom php.syn file for the color coding?
