Hi!
1.1.5:
If you ban a user, and the user is online when the ban is set, the user remains online. The user can't even log out if he or she presses the "Log out" link. The only way to log out that I see is to clear the users cookie. I think the forum should clear the users cookie if the user is banned and online at the same time.

That way, they can't register a new account and evade without having to go and delete the cookie

Well, the user is removed from the table over online users in the database, but from the users point of view, he is still logged in.
Perhaps it's meant to be like this? But I still can't figure out the reason for why it dosen't work to log out with "login.php?action=out"
When I think of it Smartys explanation makes sense...
chrizz: We'll just have to live with the fact that the banned user remains on the online list for a few minutes. Making sure the user is removed when banned will complicate things quite a bit. It's just not worth it.
Make them suffer, they're banned for a reason!
