Topic: connection with blog:cms

i see that punbb forum is connected with blog:cms...

i don' t understand why every user needs to login on the blog and on the forum!!!

it'd be nice if just a login was needed!!!

PunBB is not connected with blog:cms it's just that the developer of blog:cms is using PunBB as the forum component. This is something you should take up with him.

Raff, I use PunBB as my forum on a couple of my sites. I use Nucleus for my CMS, which is related to Blog:CMS.

Once I'm signed on to my site, both CMS and forum, I don't need to sign on again unless the cookie expires.

Making one sign on for both a CMS and Forum or any other app for that matter, makes it harder to keep up with changes as projects progress.

What Blog:CMS does is facilitate the creation of a forum user when you sign up at the CMS. From that point on, PunBB takes over with validation and customization of the user.

Hope that clears up some confusion, but you're welcome to take the plugin Radek has written and add to it.
