Topic: another error

hello. well i was trying to make a new database to test out punbb 1.2 beta and it didnt want to work for me. so i was going to delete the db i just made and try again. but i delted the worng one and delted the db for the punbb i am trying to use. now it comes up with an error

An error was encountered
Error: Unable to fetch category/forum list. 

ne1 no wot to do?

delete the config.php and reinstall.

delete all tables in the database. delete all of the files. upload the files again. reinstall it.

this should work, unless its a problem with installing 1.2.  what does it say when you try to install it?

i dont want to loose my posts that i have on my site.
wot r they saved into then i can copy that file some were else?

So you deleted the database containing all your posts? In that case, unless you have a backup, the posts are gone.

if you deleted it, and didnt back it up, its gone. you have to completly reinstall it. also be sure to run the installer for any mods that you have also.

ok i am reinstallin it. not happy though sad
btw while i posting here, when 1.2 comes out properly, will i be able to transfer my posts from 1.1.5 to 1.2?
