hello any idea sometimes on refresh or just loading the board.. it well show text only .. no colors no tables just text only ?????????
probably becuase either you or your server was slow and the stylesheets failed to load
i run a 6meg internet speed on my computer.. the server has its own ip addy on the 6meg line.. the computer for server is a 500 with 512 of ram and only thing running is the http server... my computer is a 2gig watercooled computer mmmmmm slow not to sure on that one
could be the acutal webserver application that chokes on something ...
When I had redhat, it clogged up and more or less brought the computer to a standstill (hard reset only way to get it to work again) ... I think it was apache that started threads that stalled and used up the memory ... Installed Debian, and haven't had a single problem like that again ...
so, you shouldn't just say it's unlikely, and dismiss it ... there might be something in the configurations, disk-access, bad memory etc. that can be the reason ... so it might be worth trying to log what happens on the server, when you get that effect (for example, could be that apache runs out of free slots, if you use apache that is 
)
where can i get Debian.. to down.. i do run rh9 but in text only to lessin the load on the cpu ... and does debian have a gui install or text install.. mysql php built in install or after have to add it ??
I'm using it in textmode only, no screen or anything connected to it atm ... I just ssh onto it and do security updates etc.
installation of stuff is easy ... apt-get is my best friend by now
doe sit have mysql and php built in ?? or i have to down them and instlal after ??
On my latest server I used the 'netinst CD image, with Debian base'.
It's a 100mb download for i386, it has the base system, then you just do a apt-get install whatever programs you want.

think i build a test box for this.. as the rh9 seems ok and had mysql n php built in... thank u for the info tho

same thing happend to me after upgrade
snapple did it happen around the time you did this - http://punbb.org/forums/viewtopic.php?id=5112 if it did then chances are both are the same thing going wrong with the server and that neither of them are punbb
no it happined at anytime i think it maybe a caching problem with my ie.. not punb....
