Topic: Flawless migration from MiniBB 1.7F

Had a miniBB forum with several hacks and with just under 3000 posts and successfully migrated that board to PunBB without a hitch.

Backed up my minibb files and DB onto a local test server. Installed punbb and used the migration tool to convert my miniBB database to PunBB.

Liked the results so much, I upgraded the PunBB to version 1.2.

Then I simply transferred the files and database tables and data to my domain webserver.

Presto !

So far, so good, there is a tiny glitch when I try to update a user profile,
I get this message:
"Bad request. The link you followed is incorrect or outdated."

but the the update does actually work.

The bug you spoke of in 1.2 has been fixed.

Thanks. It's inspired by a few other successful designs that i favor, but subtley merged and tweaked to my own personal tastes.

i assume he meant it is fixed in the final release of 1.2.

Yes, that tool worked brilliantly. Just push the button and let it do it's thing.
