Topic: hey i almost am done! please help me though

I am almost done and im done with the instalation 2.  All i need to do now is to make a txt file and paist my stuff in it and then name is config.php  (Right??)  So now how do you upload files directly up to the mysql database that i need to put this in??   Please help me out.

The config.php file has to be uploaded using ftp alongside the index.php for PunBB.

here i get this error on myphpadmin

The $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] directive MUST be set in your configuration file!

You dont need phpmyadmin for this, you upload the config.php file to your forum root folder via ftp or anything else that you use to upload file to your web server.

BTW, $cfg['PmaAbsoluteUri'] is nothing important, you have to put your phpmyadmin url in the file config.php (the one for phpmyadmin not punbb).

o so phpmyadmin does nothing lol...  (Wow what a waist of time...)  ok... Well whatever..  Also can you use html script in the php files??  I want to add a hit counter to my site??   I want to add it so it would be undr footer.php but where would i add the hit counter...  Here is my counter code.

you can with a redirect to your IP depending on your router settings, or you can even point the domain to your IP and set up the domain in your apache config...
