Topic: Newbie: Why doesn't visit timeout remove the user?

Perhaps I'm misunderstanding the point of the 'visit timeout' option.  I'm looking for a way so that if a user doesn't explicitly log out, the user is automatically logged out after X minutes -- so somebody else walking up to the computer won't accidentally post as the previous user.

Is this possible?

Thanks

yes untick the "Save username and password between visits." button in profile

Thanks.  I have disabled that item in my profile.

But PunBB still remembered me from yesterday, and I was able to post without logging in again (after well over 12 hours of inactivity).  I have the timeout set to 600 seconds.

mightymorse: That's actually a bug in PunBB 1.2. I'm on it smile
