if you wait a couple of days i will host you.
what is it that yuo want hosting for?
if it is just for a punbb forum then you can register one for free at
http://www.mypunbb.com
edit - i can host you now go to http://www.acidwebhosting.org .
I recommend TextDrive (they host this site). You're not gonna find anything better. Just don't forget to select PunBB in the dropdown when you sign up That way you're supporting PunBB with a percentage of the profits.

i saw this one.. Is this better or no?
and the one you suggested rickard does that automattically set up punbb when u buy the hosting space?
No, but setting up PunBB is extremely simple. Read through their forums to see what people are saying about them. I don't think I've ever read that much praise from a hosting company's customers.
I've got my game running on http://www.phpwebhosting.com. Best I have seen on the web.

Totally agree!
ok but can i use the $12 a month thing. Im only 13 and get no allounce so i need a site thats not going to be the expensiveest thing ever. So will i be good if i go with the $13 a month plan??
Cows
$12 plan is more than enough for you. You can goto http://textdrive.com/forum/ to ask any questions.
With TextDrive you don't seem to get much bang for the buck. . .unless I'm missing something.
I'd do some more research on the web, asking different people from different message boards. I'm not trying to pull you away from supporting Rickard, but that hosting is a bit expensive. I'd recommend something else, and if you'd like, donate to Rickard directly through paypal. That way, Rickard gets your support and you save money.
One host I've dealt with in the past is HASWEB. You can find their hosting plans here:
http://www.hasweb.com/experience/hasweb … plans.html
For one lump sum of $35, you get a full year's service with EXCELLENT support and above-average features.
Note: I'm not affiliated with HASWEB and don't receive money by sending people to their site. I'm just a satisfied customer who liked what I got.
if you just want a little site then - http://www.acsite.net/en/hosting.htm $10 a year 1 gig bandwidth 50mb space should be enough for a small punbb site

You must be. Have a look at some of the features you get with all plans at TextDrive:

* Aliasing of several top-level domains to same web and email folders
* Urchin 5 statistics
* WebDAV
* Subversion repositories
* SFTP/SCP/SSH access with rsync and unison support
* FTP/FTP-SSL access
* Number of mailboxes only limited by your space
* Email aliases
* Secure (SSL) SMTP, IMAP and POP email
* Webmail
* Configurable spam filtration
* Mailman mailing lists
* MySQL, PostGreSQL, SQLite and Berkeley databases
* phpMyAdmin
* phpPgAdmin
* Remote database access via SSH tunneling
* Cron jobs
* Snapshot backups to hard disk
* Daily incremental and weekly full backups to tape
does my sql php ect all come installed with that server. Then all i do is kupload my files? Or do i install php and mysql? Also I dont need apachy now that im using a paid host right?
p.s. when i install languauge packs can i have them all so people all around the world can see my forums correctly???
You don't need anything with a paid host. If they support mySQL and php then it's already up and running. If they don't support it then you can't install it. Textdrive comes with everything you need. In fact I have a feeling textdrive will even install PunBB for you though I'm not absolutely sure. They will certainly install textpattern cms for you. If you install language packs then individual users will be able to select which language they want to use to view the forum. There might be a problem with right-to-left languages though.
The only reason you would need apache is if you want to run a server on your own machine.
If you are french, I recommend you Online because there is no transfer limit and it's kinda cheap (30EUR/year for 100MB).
I currently use powweb, i'd currently reccomend against them... navigating my site is painfully slow right now (and for the last month or so) thanks to some server problems they've been having.
EDIT: But then, they're really cheap for what you get $80/year with free domain registration, 5Gb daily transfer limit, 1Gb storage space and such.
If your low on cash, start googling for free php/mysql hosting sites. They are out there. All you need is paitence and a strong will.

I like OVH better. It's cheaper, but you have cronjobs, python, perl, system and bash exec via PHP or another, 5 (five) incremental backup accessible juste by ftp, 2 incremental backup of MySQL, even compiled C; and they have several thousands clients (so the backbones, routing, clusters and so on are really strong).
Textdrive has some thing over it, like ruby, postgres, but they are smaller, and somewhat more expensive.

OVH has traffic limitations, and worse, if your page do more than ~50k hits (it's not that much, with a page with lot of diff gfx) a day, it's put on a halt
OVH is cool for dedicated servers though, but that's not the subject
If only 13 and looking for small site (which most people don't even use a tenth of their BW/Disk space). Try http://www.hostinglite.com/ (specifically- http://www.hostinglite.com/shared.php ). I have a resller account with them and seems to be working fine. It is cPanel though...
The reseller accounts are the best- mutlidomain hosting is the best way to go (if you ever think more than one domain).
Depending on how much "support" you need- I can host it pretty cheap ( http://www.mgwebhosting.com ) but I have gone to a "do it yourself kind of clients"...just no time for constant support.
how about
www.ipower.com $8 a month?? or http://www.hostinglite.com/ the $6 one
out of those witch one should i do??
I've got my game running on http://www.phpwebhosting.com. Best I have seen on the web.
I've taken up your suggestion..
They seem to offer me some things that others wouldn't.. and off the bat, that's a good thing.
Also, their tech people actually responded to my requests in a timely manner...
so anyways witch one should i pick i dont want any suggestions unless there like the best thing in the world
