Topic: AP_News_Generator error

Howdy!

When I click the Generate button for this Plugin I get the following error:

Error: Unable to open new item template ./plugins/AP_News_Generator/news.tpl. Make sure $template_path is correct.

The news.tpl file is definately in the location specified and it has read/write permissions, same as the rest of the plugin folder.  The details listed before I click the Generate button are shown in the image below:

If its any help the URL from which I'm running the plugin from is:

http://..../forums/admin_loader.php?plugin=AP_News_Generator.php

If anyone has come across this issue before and knows of a solutions your help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I tried removing the plugin then putting it back in with default settings but it still doesn't work, could someone please assist me with this if possible? It would be much appreciated, thank you.

try going to
http://..../forums/plugins/AP_News_Generator/news.tpl
in your browser to see if it actually exists

DOH!

Thank you VERY much Connorhd.  It was a permissions error, and I thought I had checked it a billion times mad

What should the permissions be for the following folders/files? (I've currently got them all set to 777 to make sure it worked)

/forums/plugins
/forums/plugins/AP_News_Generator
/forums/plugins/AP_News_Generator/archive
/forums/plugins/AP_News_Generator/news.tpl
