Topic: Installation problem

I'm trying to install punbb 1.2.2 on this machine locally, when I click on the button at the foot of the install page I get the following:

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://localhost/~robert/punbb/install.php

The following error was encountered:

    * Zero Sized Reply

Squid did not receive any data for this request.

I'm using the postgresql database and a transparent proxy on the local host.

Looking at my apache error log I see

[Wed Mar 09 09:39:55 2005] [notice] child pid 16020 exit signal Segmentation fault (11)

Can't see any core files though, any thoughts on what's provoking this?

Well, I would say it's definately a problem with either squid or Apache. As the log indicates, an apache child crashed. That's never a good sign smile

:-) I turned off the iptabes rule that sends everything via squid, and I no longer get the zero sized reply message (unsurprisingly!), still get the subprocess crash though :-(
Think I'm up to date with apache (apache2-2.0.50-7.2.101mdk) mdk 10.1, no doubt I've done something stupid somewhere....
