Topic: Private messaging MOD

I know I should visit the other PunBB forum for this, however no one has responded and I would like an answer as quickly as possible.

In the private messaging mod, the install says to do this: "patch -p2 < /location/to/PM-1.2.0.diff" How do you do this?

I believe that's only for upgrading: to just add it, copy the files over and run install_mod.php and make the edits in the readme file

no, thats for patching automatically, it is an alternative to making the edits although you need a shell access to your hosting to do it, i would suggest if you don't know what it is that you just make the edits manually theres not many

btw you need to expect to wait more than an hour for replies
