Topic: Error message in istalation...

I´m getting this message when i try to do a clean install:

Warning: main(./include/dblayer/mysql.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/nfs1b/vhosts/umpii/pusher.ws/pusher.ws_files/snetripp/install.php on line 335

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './include/dblayer/mysql.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /var/nfs1b/vhosts/umpii/pusher.ws/pusher.ws_files/snetripp/install.php on line 335

I see the files in the directory, what else can it be?
Please let me know...

are you sure they are in the correct structure
e.g.
/install.php
/include/dblayer/mysql.php
not
/install.php
/mysql.php
you could also try deleting the file and redownloading the zip from punbb.org incase its corrupt

Ok, i see the files, but still nothing...
I try to download a new zip and  uppload it again.

you can't have uploaded it correctly sicne http://pusher.ws/pusher.ws_files/snetri … /mysql.php doesn't exsist

I got it to work...
But now i get this:

An error occured on line 837 in file /var/nfs1b/vhosts/umpii/pusher.ws/snetripp/install.php.

PunBB reported: Unable to create table titles. Please check your settings and try again.

Database reported: Table 'ranks' already exists (Errno: 1050)

Can i do a clean install and use a new mysqldatabase and
then update this new database with my old database?

no (well not easily), just use the template config.php (in extras) to put in your old stuff if you want to keep your old stuff

Never mind, the database is gone...
Hope my users re-register and start over...
