i upgraded from 1.2.2 but something must have gone wrong.
i can see the forum but not the messages. 
the forum is at www.heiloo-online.nl/forum/index.php
does anyone have an idea what is wrong and what to do?

try reuploading the files except for config.php and download a new set from punbb.org first incase they are corrupt

did that, but no solution.
keep getting a 500 internal server error on viewtopic.php.
viewforum.php on the other hand is working fine...
any other suggestions?

it's a hosted website.

nope u wont, back up sql is just if anything would go wrong.
usually everything is alright and u wont need backuped files
