Topic: HOW DO I UPGRADE FROM v1.2

Hi,

I am running PUNBB v1.2 on my site (www.new-york-dolls.com) and wanted to know how to upgrade to the latest version. I just had a few questions I hoped someone could help me out with:

I have absolutely no knowledge of PHP coding, how simple is it for me to upgrade?

When I upgrade will I lose all my current registered users and posts?

I saw a mod for a Private Messaging system and some Polls. Do these mods work on the latest version of punbb, and again will they be easy for me to install (being lame at PHP)?

When I upgrade do I have to first upgrade to 1.2.1, then 1.2.2 etc until I am up to date with the latest version? Or can I simply upgrade from 1.2 to the latest release?

Im sorry if these questions have been answered a million times already. Please help big_smile

as for the PM and poll mod, the PM mod works on 1.2.4, and so does Mediators EasyPoll mod afaik
