What code is needed to do this?

I have redesigned the Dolls official site and hoped someone could give me a hand with what I presume is very simple code. I have an image slideshow in the top right of the page but i want this to be the last thing that the browser tries to load. At the minute it takes a while for the page to load as it is trying to load all 30 images for the slideshow first.

If anyone can help, I'd be grateful. I successfully integrated the "Users Online" and "Recent Topics" in the index page thanks to you guys
