Topic: Tor Setup

I have a few issues with how I might do this.

I am trying to setup PunBB as a "invisible" forum on Tor.  But need to be able to send the various emails to internal Tormail (like name@zfp44lbek54utuch.onion).  I can setup my MTA to work with the routing but PunBB tells me it is not a vaild admin email.

The other issue is being able to work with the cookie issue.

Hmm. Are you sure PunBB does not accept name@zfp44lbek54utuch.onion as a valid e-mail address? Which version are you running?

I think that was the issue with setup.  Since now I can go back and make the email a Tormail address (.onion).  I am working now to test to see if by putting in the SMTP if it will send the subscription and other emails using it.  smile

I assumed you were using PunBB 1.2.5 in which that fix was incorporated.

Yes I am running 1.2.5 and it is now working in terms of the email address.  Now I just have to get the smtp traffic to route through the local proxy which I think is the issue with sending passwords and subscriptions.
