Topic: Help please registering emails not working

I am sure the email on the server is working fine I get emails when people regester with the site and I can send emails from there profiles and you can reqest a password if you for get it but when the user regesters to get an account they dont get any email. also on my forum there is a password text box I like to remove that and have the system send them there password is there a setting I am missing some where to make it so it sends a registering email please help.

Not sure if this will help but I've found that if a user supplies a yahoo email they won't get the password confirmation email.  I put it down to yahoo being weird.

In Administration -> Options, try selecting "Use e-mail verification"

Thanks guys the last post would work I found it before I came back to check my post thanks anyways.

But maybe you can help with this.

On the profiles page for users it shows that smileys are on but when you click on the link they just show this

smile shows smile I dont see the smiley picture ? thanks in advance.
