Topic: Login bug

at some (not all) PCs my users have a troubles with login. after they correctly fill login form & press submit they redirected like they press logout smile

so bug imho.

if they post incorrect password they redirected as usual with message "incorrect password"

punbb 1.2.5
PHP: 4.3.11
MySQL 4.0.24

the problem is like that: (on my example)
login on "tourney.ru/forum" and "www.tourney.ru/forum" generates different cookies so if you login at xxx.com and after redirect to www.xxx.com forum engine can't find exact cookie. I simply fix any links to tourney.ru -> www.tourney.ru

I was trying to login to some PunBB forums while using a Windows® XP computer with IE6 and Service Pack 2. The privacy setting was on High. Setting it to Medium or Medium-High (I'm not sure which) solved the problem.
