Topic: punBB API question: number of results

Let's suppose I manage a forum about celebrities and that I would like to make stats about the most quoted or most discussed ones. I would be interested in a tool that would return the number of posts or threads with the term n: is there a punBB API to do this?

E.g. /searchterm.php?query=bill+clinton&mode=post to get the number of posts where Bill Clinton is quoted. With such a toll, I could build a "Top 10 Hottest Topics".

Maybe there's a plugin, maybe there's a command... anyone?

But I can't see any function that does what you want.
