Topic: Migration tool index.php parse error

I just wanted to report an index.php parse error on the migration tool. 

The current migration tool available for download on punbb.org here has an index.php parse error when I tried to run it for the first time

Parse error: parse error, unexpected '}' in /var/www/html/html/1.6/test/converter/index.php on line 242

Tried running it several times now on 2 different servers.

Thanks for any info / update on this.

anyone?  I'm having a similar problem?  Could it be that in the upgrade to 1.2.5 this broke?

What version was the converter originally written for... perhaps I could try it on that version - thanks.

Looks like the script needs short tags enabled. Either enable short tags in your php.ini and restart the server process or change occurencies of <? to <?php in the migrator.
