Topic: Analyzing logfiles
My hosting company disabled AWStats due to vulnerabilities.
Is there any recommendation for a good (and free or cheap) online script to analyze logfiles or a software that does the job offline?

I use webalizer ... not that good, but at least it gives some info ...
AWStats is not more or less vulnerable than any other app if you keep it up to date and disable the big neonsigns saying "HACK ME" (online updating f.e.).
I think it can be installed locally as well (in you own cgi-bin then) if you have read access to your raw log it should be no problem.
I used webalize for a long time but stopped immediately when I discovered AwStats. No comparison but the second choice if you can not run AwStats at all...
Ah, forgot:
If you protect your AwStats with a .htaccess file it should be safe enough anyway.
Give it a try.
