Topic: All links and pages show wrong URL

the address to all the links and pages of my fresh install of punbb show up as a the subdomain that the server is on instead of the web addres.  In other words, i installed it to www.dankster.org/indie and everthing shows up as dankster.drazin.org for some reason.

Can someone please tell me how to fix this problem? i only want links to stay withen www.dankster.org

thanks.

Re: All links and pages show wrong URL

Look up the table PREFIXconfig with  phpMyAdmin and see what value "o_base_url" has.

Re: All links and pages show wrong URL

that value in the database is www.dankster.org/indie  i never once set up or typed dankster.drazin.org there is some sort of error or bug causing this.  again, i have set the baseurl to www.dankster.org/indie and sometimes i get that bad referer error.

Maybe you - just to be sure - delete your cache files?
And check your apache config? Or let your host do it?

I figure it's more an apache problem (OR even DNS though that's rather unlikely)

Re: All links and pages show wrong URL

Looks fine to me... (although going to http://www.dankster.org/indie redirects me to http://dankster.drazin.org/indie)

Re: All links and pages show wrong URL

I found something while playong around a bit.

If you take the address
http://www.dankster.org/indie/

or even
http://www.dankster.org/indie/index.php

but NOT
http://www.dankster.org/indie

then everything is OK!

Note the trailing slash after "indie"

Anyway: this indicates that is has to do with the apache settings.
So if you really have to live without the trailing slash you will have to contact your provider.
