Topic: restoring database AFTER upgrading to v1.2.7

I've upgraded my forum to the latest version. The hacker deleted a couple of forums. I just restored the database and now have my forums back but now the database is no longer v1.2.7 compliant. In fact the last version was 1.2.5.

Do I run the 12_to_126_update.php and then 12_to_127_update.php or ??

Nope, the only database change since 1.2 is the version incread, so you can run 12_to_127 if you want.
