Topic: How to change the Version number?

I've applied the latest upgrade using the diff files and noted the version didn't change. I changed it in the db config table. It still says 1.2.7. Either I haven't found the right place to make the changes or I just need to wait a bit for my server cache to refresh. Please advise. TIA. Gregg

The PunBB download archive comes with a file in the /extras directory that updates your forum's database. Also, there is a forum version changer plugin in the downloads section (http://punbb.org/downloads.php).

Also, when changing anything in the config table, be sure to remove the cache_config.php file from your cache/ directory. This makes PunBB to generate a new one.
