Topic: Install Trouble

Okay i been installing forums and whatnot for years and i dont normally ask but im total confused with this one i need some help here folks with this.


An error occured on line 58 in file /home/www/clansigns.cogia.net/Forums/include/dblayer/mysql.php.

PunBB reported: Unable to connect to MySQL server. MySQL reported: Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (2)


any ideas will be a big help

If you are sure your mysql entries in config.php are correct then there's something wrong with your mysql installation and you should ask your host about it.
