Topic: Podcasting

Do any of you guys do/listen to any Podcasts?

I hear more about it by the day but want to filter out all the random crap and get to some decent stuff.

Does anyone have an interest in this at all?

Re: Podcasting

Not a lot to tell you the truth. I did listen to this one though. Particularly around 14:15 big_smile

Re: Podcasting

Do you think you'd be more interested if the person speaking was someone you knew - such as an expert in a field?

Re: Podcasting

It's Matt Mullenweg? I believe calling him an expert in the web development field is not an overstatement.

The thing that bugs me about this particular podcast, well podcasts in general really, is the audio quality. If someone had spent 10 minutes cleaning it up in an audio editor, it would be a lot more enjoyable.

Re: Podcasting

Podcasting is a really cool way to grab and listen to things you may like.

I use BashPodder on Ubuntu Linux to retreive me each day songs and talks from approximately 30 sources.
When i really enjoy some of them, i keep them in a separate folder

I listen to this WEEK in TECH, Diggnation, Security Now!, Inside the Net, and a few other podcasts. I am a big fan, and even have my own. If you'd like to check us out, you can listen to The Weekly Roar here.
