Topic: MD5 Checksum - Do you care?

I am curios if the tech oriented crowd that lingers in these forums care about MD5 checksum?  Do you check the files you download?  What is the easiest/quickest way people have found to do this?

Its seems there are about 100 different approaches to checking downloaded files, I am looking for the one that is easiest to use.

I'm using Firefox 1.5 and this extension is still not compatible.
